Kinesiology
A profound and complex system of natural medicine enabling the practitioner to access the inner wisdom of the recipients body. Briefly, it is the study of muscle energy in relation to health. It is a way of identifying any imbalances a person has by monitoring the response of their ability to hold muscles against specific directional pressure applied by the therapist. It draws on principles from traditional Chinese medicine e.g. muscles relate to meridians, or energy systems of the body.
Every active muscle is related to one of the fourteen meridians which relate to internal organs or hormonal pathways. Together the muscle / organ /meridian form a circuit which has a certain energy to it which will reflect in muscle response, this feedback is generally quite obvious to both client and practitioner.
One of the wonderful things about this system is that the client feels the changes in energy of the indicator muscle e.g. a week / painful muscle after finding the appropriate correction will become stronger and / or pain free, so you will feel positive changes. A correction could be of an electrical (we are electro / magnetic beings) emotional, (every molecule in the body has an emotional energy) chemical (herbs, vitamins, homeopathic, etc), structural (spinal misalignments) or spiritual nature. which may require crystals, vibrational medicine or hands on healing.
Kinesiology gives us the outline to structure the best treatment to suit the individual. Generally we work in the order of priority, we are directed what is needed, in what order and is it safe to proceed by the feedback of the muscle testing procedure.
